Question 1

How do I find a gym near me?

Accepted Answer

Browse the gym list and filter by city, or open a city page such as “Gyms in Noida” to see gyms grouped by locality with starting prices and ratings. Each listing shows timings, facilities and member reviews so you can compare before you visit.

Question 2

Can I compare gyms side by side?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Add gyms to the compare tray and open the Compare page to see prices, facilities, timings and ratings in one grid. Nothing is saved to your account — the tray is a quick way to weigh a few options against each other.

Question 3

What does the “Verified” badge mean?

Accepted Answer

A verified listing has passed a document check by our team — the gym proved it is operated by the business it claims to be. Verified is a trust signal, not an endorsement of quality; always check the latest reviews and visit before joining.

Question 4

Is HeyGym free to use?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Browsing gyms, comparing, sending enquiries and booking trials is free for members. You pay the gym directly for a membership — HeyGym never takes a cut of your membership fee.

Question 5

How do enquiries work?

Accepted Answer

When you send an enquiry, the gym receives the name and phone number you entered along with your message. Only send an enquiry if you consent to the gym contacting you back — consent is recorded at the time you submit.

Question 6

How do free trials work?

Accepted Answer

Gyms with a “Trial available” badge offer trial sessions. Request a date, the gym confirms or proposes another slot, and you’ll see the status under Account → Trials. Trial availability and length are set by each gym.

Question 7

The gym hasn’t responded to my trial request. What now?

Accepted Answer

Trial requests are handled directly by gym staff, so response times vary. You can check the status in Account → Trials and re-request if it has stalled. If a gym repeatedly ignores requests, let us know and we’ll review the listing.

Question 8

Are reviews verified?

Accepted Answer

Reviews marked as verified visits come from members with a completed trial or membership at that gym. Review authors are shown with shortened display names to protect privacy.

Question 9

How do I leave or edit a review?

Accepted Answer

Open the gym’s page and choose “Write a review” if you’ve visited. Your review appears under Account → Reviews, where you can edit or delete it at any time. Reviews are moderated for spam and abuse but not for opinion.

Question 10

How do I report an inaccurate listing or review?

Accepted Answer

Use the report option on the listing or review, or email us with the link. Our moderators check reported prices, timings and reviews against the source and either correct the listing or remove the content.

Question 11

How do I delete my data?

Accepted Answer

Go to Account settings and choose “Delete my account” (you’ll confirm with your password), or email us and we’ll process it. Reviews you wrote stay visible under the label “Deleted user”.

Question 12

How do I update my name, phone or password?

Accepted Answer

Account settings lets you update your profile details and change your password at any time. Changing your password signs out other sessions, so use “Log out everywhere” if you think someone else has access.

Question 13

I own a gym. How do I list it?

Accepted Answer

Use the “List your gym” page to create an organization and submit your gym. Listings go live after review, and claimed listings can be managed from the owner dashboard.

Question 14

My gym is already listed. How do I claim it?

Accepted Answer

Find your gym and choose “Claim this gym”. We verify ownership against the details you provide before granting dashboard access. Once claimed, you can update prices, timings, facilities and respond to leads.

Question 15

Does it cost anything to list my gym?

Accepted Answer

Basic listings are free — you can publish your gym, keep details current and receive enquiries at no cost. Any optional promotional placement is clearly marked and never affects how gyms are ranked in search.
